Located on Pepper Street, the Barnyard Racers Pig Racers make a trial run in practice for the porcine race around the oval. Whichever snout crosses the finish line first gets the coveted trophy—an Oreo cookie. A rollercoaster is built before opening day at the fair. The fair opened on September 7.
