COURIER Advertising Rates

CLASSIFIED READER ADS

Classifieds are simple: 16 words or less costs $20 with $1.25 for each additional word after 16. The cost applies for each time the ad runs. The deadlines for all classified advertisements are Monday (for Wednesday’s edition) and Thursday (for Saturday’s edition) at 3 p.m.

REAL ESTATE DISPLAY ADS

Display ads are charged per column inch with a 3 column minimum. The following are general guidelines that can be used to approximate the cost of an ad in the COURIER. Be sure to specify ad size and layout or one will be chosen for you. If you would like your ad to be in color, a flat $100 charge will be added to any size ad. The deadline for real estate ads are Monday (for Wednesday edition) and Wednesday (for Saturday edition) by 3 p.m.

SERVICE ADS

Service ads are published in 24 editions of the COURIER (approximately 3 months.) Deadlines for new and renewed service ads are Monday at 3 p.m.

STUDENT ADS

Student ads are free at 16 words or less. The ad will run for 3 months and there must be a 3-month break in between sessions. Email Aimee Rose at classified@claremont-courier.com to place a student ad.

Contract Rate: 1-84 inches: $10 per column inch*

*A contract is based on a minimum of 13 runs.

The COURIER also carries inserts priced at $240 per insertion. Special areas such as Gourmet Guide ($138 per month), Professional Services ($174 for 3 months) and New Car Guides ($25 per dealer) are available.

We publish a series of special issues during the year. They include the annual Almanac, Women At Work, Today's Parent, Rites of Spring, Village Venture and Holiday Magazine.

FICTITIOUS NAME

DID YOU KNOW? A fictitious name statement (D.B.A) is required if you're in business. You are required to file and publish a Fictitious Name Statement in the local newspaper; You must renew every five (5) years; You mus republish if any changes have been made to your business. If your business is in Los Angeles County, the COURIER will provide the legal form, file it with the L.A. County Clerk, publish the Statement and provide you with proof of publication. Only $95 to publish plus a $23 county fee.
