California Democrats appeal

Dear Editor:

On March 31 an appeal was launched by grass roots California Democrats to national leaders to forge soon a compromise between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama that will enable Democrats to launch a united campaign to win the November elections.  This appeal was presented to the March 31 meeting of the Democratic Club of Claremont and signed by a number of its members.

The appeal will be sent to the candidates and to the Democratic National Committee this week.
