Bernard Field Station

Dear Editor:

So now Harvey Mudd is planning to build a "green" parking lot in the Bernard Field Station. This institute of "higher learning" should know that a "green" parking lot is an oxymoron. For all the money and resources they have, this is the best they could come up with?

Maybe they are taking a lesson from the City of Claremont: purchase a wilderness park to preserve open space and then bulldoze it. Brilliant.
