Concerts Under the Stars

Magic happens under the stars and it’s happening again this summer as nonprofits raise money with the help of the Hafif Foundation and the Concerts Under the Stars series. About a week ago, more than 100 people—representing nonprofit organizations—gathered at the Hafif Foundation and enjoyed great music and food while listening to Herb Hafif talk about the concert series.

So many nonprofits are being given the chance to sell tickets to the concert series, that the foundation added another day to the front of the scheduled concerts. This year, the concert series will begin July 19 and run through August 16.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this spectacular event, the series allows nonprofit organizations to sell tickets at $55 a piece. The evening includes a great meal, wonderful music, inspiring speakers and an opportunity to kick up your heels to a variety of musical venues. If you enjoy a nice salsa, then purchase tickets for July 19. If the music of the 70s through 90s sets your feet a tappin’, then sign up for July 26. How about country western? August 2 will be your night. Classic rock will be showcased on August 9 and we’re back to the smooth touch of the 70s through 90s music on August 16.

There’s something for everyone at these concerts, but not only that, you’ll be helping your favorite nonprofit organization make money. The big deal is that the nonprofit organization gets all the money raised. That’s right! Not one bit goes to the Hafif Foundation.

So, make it a fun evening and support the nonprofit or your choice during the Concerts Under the Stars series. It’s a win/win for everyone.
