Turrell’s Skyspace reopens after closure for maintenance
A handful of people took in the reopening of James Turrell’s art installation Skyspace on Monday at Pomona College.
The installation, which is also known as Dividing the Light, is located in the Draper Courtyard, Lincoln and Edmunds Buildings, Pomona College at the corner of Sixth Avenue and College Way in Claremont.
The popular attraction had been closed for maintenance beginning in May, but reopened June 20.
The public is invited to visit Dividing the Light on Saturday through Monday during the school year and every day during the summer. The best viewing times are at sunrise and sunset.
