Ophelias Jump presents ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ with council, locals

A troupe of actors, including Claremont city council members and staff, will recreate a radio version of the film It’s A Wonderful Life at Ophelia’s Jump in Upland from November 8 through December 15.

Set in a radio studio in 1946, the show will have locals performing live Foley sounds and several roles, as well as leading the audience on a holiday sing-a-long.

This family-friendly adaptation of the classic movie is recreated as a 1946 live radio broadcast from “KOJP Upland Radio.” The show stars Dani Bustamante, Beatrice Casagran, Janette Combs, Caitlin Lopez, Randy Lopez and Blake McCormack.

Each performance will feature special appearances by Claremont and Upland community members. Four special performances will be double features with It’s A Wonderful Life in the first act and a holiday themed improv for the second act.
