Fairplex testing site closed due to smoke, poor air quality

COVID-19 testing at the Pomona Fairplex, and a several other locations, has been suspended due to poor air quality caused by smoke from the fires currently burning in southern California.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health closed the Fairplex testing site for September 10 and 11. Other sites closed due to the smoke include: College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita; East LA College in Monterey Park; San Gabriel Valley Airport; Montebello Civic Center and Panorama City.

Residents with appointments at one of these testing sites will receive an email or call from public health. Also several same day appointment are available for people who cannot wait to get a test.
