Once again putting smiles on faces

As you can see from the photo from last year’s event, this toy drive is serious business for all the volunteers, including Chief Shelly Vander Veen and Santa. We all know this year is different, but the virus is not going to slow them from giving. Putting smiles on faces is a top priority!

Now with the holiday season upon us, the Claremont Police Department is proud to once again partner with KGNH for a no contact, socially distanced, drive-through toy drive (per COVID-19 protocols) that benefit local children in need. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be collected and distributed to deserving children in Claremont and surrounding neighborhoods. The toy drive will be held on Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Claremont Police Department, 570 W. Bonita Avenue. The community is invited to bring a toy, drive-through, and show their support!
