The city of Claremont is taking applications for individuals interested in serving on the city’s Committee on Youth and Family.

The committee is made up of Claremont residents working through the Community and Human Services department to inform the community about family and youth activities, support services and opportunities.

Potential committee members must live or work in Claremont and have a desire to serve the public. Application forms can be obtained at the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Road, during normal business hours. Applications must be received (postmarks not accepted) no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 21.

The committee will review all of the applications received by the deadline and select candidates for personal interviews. It is anticipated the final committee selection will be completed by mid-December. For more information, contact Ali Martinez at 399-5494 or email amartinez@ci.claremont.ca.us.
