Vernon Mansell Visick died peacefully in his sleep on June 18, 2017 in Ontario after a brief kidney infection. He was 78.
Mr. Visick was born in Spokane, Washington. He was the son of John Francis Visick of Long Beach, California and Lorraine Visick (nee Paulson) of San Dimas. He was the eldest of five brothers and one sister in an Evangelical United Brethren pastor’s family.
A memorial service for Frieda Earl Yakish is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 at The Social Center at Mt. San Antonio Gardens, 900 E. Harrison Ave. Ms. Yakish died October 3, 2016. The family asks attendees to please wear bright colors.

Born at Pomona Hospital on June 22, 1944 to Fred Cutler and Marjorie Demerest Cutler Bruington, Margie grew up in Claremont as a local grove kid where she attended Sycamore, El Roble and Claremont High, both at the old school house and the current site.
