On Tuesday, June 21 police were led
on a high-speed pursuit after the department’s
ALPR camera surveillance system
identified a stolen vehicle. At 8:30
p.m., an officer attempted to pull over
the vehicle on Arrow Highway, just east
of Indian Hill Boulevard. The driver
failed to yield and sped off.
A man was arrested after attempting
to steal a 2000 Honda Accord parked on
Harvard Avenue near the Village. At
11:15 p.m., the vehicle’s owner saw the
man sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle
near Harvard and Harrison Avenues.
He confronted the man who appeared to
be holding a metal box and a notepad.
Two bronze plaques located in Padua
Park were stolen sometime between May
31 and June 3. An unknown subject stole
the large bronze dedication plaques, each
about 20 inches by 20 inches in size. They
cost roughly $675 each.
