On Thursday, November 22 a Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings will be served at no cost for those who are alone or without family to help celebrate Thanksgiving. Hosted by the Secular Francisans at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Guests are asked to make reservations so that sufficient food may be prepared. “Aztlan en la Mixla (In the Mix)” is an exhibition at the dA Center in celebration of National Latino Heritage Month featuring mixed-media incorporating Chicano expressionism, drawing inspiration from traditional and contemporary Chicano artists. This year’s exhibition will also include non-Hispanic artists that work in the same genre.
