MOVEMBER Get your facial hair ready; it’s Movember at Dale Bros. Brewery. Limited edition moustache glassware available to purchase for the first 200 guests, food all day from Rolling Burger Barns at noon and Grilled Cheese Truck at 4:30 p.m. Music and all kinds of manly (and not so manly) fun with a portion of proceeds to benefit men’s health through the Movember Foundation. THEATER Theatre Experience of SoCal presents Annie, a musical based on the beloved comic strip “Little Orphan Annie.” Set in the 1930s, a wealthy businessman adopts an orphan girl and she eventually wins his heart. FUNDRAISER EVENT Join Ophelia’s Jump Productions (OJP) and Claremont Craft Ales (CCA) to raise funds to create a permanent home for the award-winning and innovative theater company. Enjoy CCA’s craft beers with the OJP company and meet the cast of their current production Honky, which runs November 27 through December 5 at The Theatre Company Performing Arts Studio in Upland. The Boba ni Taco Truck will be on site and there will be giveaways and silent auction items. No entrance fee or ticket required. LIGHT THE CITY Ambassadors carrying candles from Our Lady of the Assumption Church will invite people in the Claremont Village to come and enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, snacks and a free gift at 7 p.m. The date marks the beginning of Advent, a time of preparation for Christmas. The church is located at 435 Berkeley Ave., Claremont, just two blocks from the Village.
