Friday, DECEMBER 7

GYPSY SISTERS Brows and shop the artwork by 29 artists featuring quilts, paintings, jewelry, prints, ceramics, fiber arts, metal work, paper craft, photography, boxes, dolls and more. A portion of profits benefit Claremont United Church of Christ. Friday, December 7 from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event takes place in the CUCC basement, located at 233 Harrison Ave., Claremont.

WINTERFEST Holiday Tea at the Petterson Museum at Pilgrim Place with an exhibit featuring “The Madonna.” The showcase includes images of women and motherhood from around the world through painting, sketches and sculpture. Holiday music will be provided by classical guitarists Michael Ryan and Kevin Soderlund. 3 to 5 p.m. at the Petterson Museum, located at 730 Plymouth Road, Claremont.

MERRY SHARING OF MISCHIEF hosted by Master of Mischief Sheila James. An evening of performance sharing: come sing, dance, read, recite, jump rope, juggle, leap—anything goes. $10 audience donation or $5 performance donation. 7 to 9 p.m. Desserts and beverages will be provided. 548 W. Tuesday, DECEMBER 11

SEASONAL SONGS from Around the World featuring the Claremont High School Choral Singers. This program is free to attend. A buffet lunch is available at 11:45 a.m. for $12. Dessert and coffee is available for $5. The University Club meets each Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Road, Claremont.
