VINO & VINYASA Enjoy an afternoon of relaxation featuring yoga and wine at Hotel Casa 425. Participate in an hour-long complimentary yoga session led by Nicole Schwander Riel, co-owner of Claremont Yoga, at 3:30 p.m. in the Casa Room. Vinyasa, also called flow yoga, is a style that employs synchronized postures and breathing techniques at a faster pace, thus providing aerobic benefits in addition to increased flexibility, better posture and stress reduction commonly associated with traditional forms of yoga. “Happy Relaxation Hour” takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Hotel Casa 425 Lounge, with select glasses of wine starting at just $5. CLOWNS Adeline Keehan, professional clown, puppeteer and ventriloquist, will discuss “Demystifying the Clown in Western Culture,” exploring themes such as the baggy pants, painted face, Pierrot, Pagliacci, Emmett Kelly and more. This program is free to attend. A buffet lunch is available at 11:45 a.m. for $12. Dessert and coffee is available for $5. The University Club meets each Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Road, Claremont.

SENIOR EXCURSION Self-guided audio tour of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, which takes you through the project’s history from conception to completion. After the tour, guests will drive over to Our Lady of Angels cathedral for lunch (included) and a guided tour. Be introduced to the art, history and architecture of the Cathedral and its grounds. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $40 for Claremont residents and $45 for non-residents.
