Deadline approaching for Wine Walk; tickets on sale soon
The Thursday, July 25 deadline for businesses hoping to participate in the 2013 Vintage Village Wine Walk is fast approaching. You also must be a member of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce to join the popular annual event.
Village businesses should already have received a sign-up packet, distinguishable by its bright green cover page. If you haven’t received a packet or have misplaced yours, you may obtain one at Aromatique, 319-A W. First St. (909-626-7422). The cost for participating in the Wine Walk, which is sponsored by the Village Marketing Group, is $80.
On or around July 25, all businesses that have signed up and paid for Wine Walk registration will receive an official participant guideline packet. All ABC license applications are due by August 5 and certificates of insurance are due by July 25.
As various Wine Walk hosts reach out to community food vendors who may have interest in showcasing their products, the Village Marketing Group (VMG) will pay $100 to qualified food donors to help offset their expenses.
Tickets for the Wine Walk—set for Saturday, September 14—go on sale Village-wide on August 1. Online tickets are expected to go on sale in the last week of July at www.claremontwinewalk.com.
Wine walk tickets are $35/$40 the day of the event (if available). This year, $30 discount tickets are available to designated drivers who aim to enjoy the food donations and non-alcoholic refreshments. Owners of Designated Driver tickets can use the accompanied a $5 gift card to a local coffee house.
