CEF car raffle this Saturday

by Andrew Alonzo | aalonzo@claremont-courier.com

On Saturday, the Claremont Educational Foundation (CEF), in partnership with Claremont Toyota, will draw this year’s winner of the annual car raffle. The lucky contestant will take home a 2021 Toyota RAV4-LE along with some other neat prizes.

The winner will also receive a National Park Annual Pass, an Osprey Daylight backpack along with a shoulder sling bag, a United by Blue Meal Kit and more!

Tickets are still on sale at $20 for a single entry and $100 for six and can be purchased via phone from Claremont Unified School District schools, from select CUSD booster groups, and at certain businesses around the city.

Booster groups include the Claremont High School Choral Boosters, Boys Golf, Speech and Debate, and classes of 2023 and 2024. Tickets can also be purchased from Claremont Toyota.

The raffle is open to anyone over the age of 18 and of U.S. residency. If the number of tickets sold is less than 1,000, the prize will be changed to a $10,000 cash prize rather than the vehicle according to the news release.
