KGNH car show blockbuster

Up to 1600 people showed up for the Keeping the Good in OUR Neighborhoods (KGNH) block party and car show on Saturday, September 7. The event ended up raising $7000, most but not all the way to the $10,000 for a new CPD canine officer. They were also joined by a strong showing by those who serve and protect. Included were the Claremont Police Department, LA County Sheriff, CHP, Search & Rescue, CERT, LA County Fire Division 2, Shakey Quakey, and even the Wienermobile! Over 90 classic cars were displayed, but most of all, a lot of great food and fun was had by all. Special thanks to Claremonter Mark Sterba who provided us with the photos.
