This special section has replaced the yearly Fourth of July edition that is published before the holiday. This year we delayed the publishing by one week in order to show what Claremont residents doing without the city's July Fourth festivities. We also profiled Claremont businesses to highlight how they adapted to better serve the public during this difficult time.
Most of us realize that the graduating classes of 2020 missed an important passage of life by not attending class for the end of their final year in high school. All three of the city's high schools—Claremont High, San Antonio and Webb—drastically adapted their curricula to continue the semester via online classwork. In honor of these students, the COURIER has produced a 3-page section loaded with wonderful photos of members of the class of 2020. Under each photo is a salutation that captures the personalities of these budding leaders. Check it out, it will be easy to reminisce. —PW
